Money back at last

We have today at last received our money back from Caja Murcia.  It has taken a long time but what a relief to have the money back at last.  We have also been awarded our legal costs and interest. 

Our solicitor had to take the Bank to Court so it has cost the Bank more by refusing to pay us nearly 4 years ago - did they actually think we would let them get away with not paying us.

With exchange rates being in our favour now we have actually made a bit on our money which goes towards other expenses.

Give Alex a call
Small firm but he has given me good service with another problem and is acting for me re OTCC/ACC
No language problems but do realise that legal action in Spain, like UK, does cost money but he is not expensive compared with some reports

And remember that lawyers in Spain take their time!
If you have a BG then getting your money, plus interest and cost [if the Bank resist] is relatively easy and may only take 6/9 months depending on the Bank
If no BG, like me, then it will be circa 18 months for a judgement and payment then depends , I suspect, on the Banks wanting to clear their liabilities and move on
We have not yet reached that point!
The good fact is Huma has not gone bust so the Banks are still supporting the company but one day they will have to clear all liabilities. Well that is the approach I take
There are other lawyers who you can approach, take their advice and then decide what you want to do
But there is one certain fact: if and when the times comes that the Banks involved want to sort out their liabilities re ACC/OTCC they will just probably deal with those who have started legal action
Similar to the PPI liabilities of UK Banks-they only pay up if pressed!! [typical bankers!!]
I cannot advise you and you must do what you think is best for yourself but the above is just my approach 
 

Well done, gives others hope in this terrible situation that should have NEVER have gone this far in our beloved EU.

Still, Spain nearly completely down the pan! and paying the ultimate price for all the irregularities in off - plan development and property building (or not building)  ..............

dont get fooled again..give whites one euro to open account and the balance ONLY when you have got  your money back..jackb liverpool......BEWARE
