Just been to Murcia's Cond. Neuvo Mall and seems Eroski is in liquidation, with 25% of toys to 40% of electrical parts, 30% homewares.
Worth a visit if passing.
Sad to see another store go.

Dont panic too much if you see a 'liquidation' sign in a store in Spain. It mostly means that they are balancing their books and/or stock holdings and putting on a sale to get stock to the desired levels.
Yet another 'lost in translation'?

Quite right "Liquidation" does not have the same meaning here as in the UK

Thanks, good to know they should still be around next time as usually do our shop there on the way down from Alicante.
Michael, I take it all back.
It looks like EROSKI is closing its store at Nueva Condominia.

Thank you for confirming, looks like we'll need to find another hypermarket on route from Alicante. I saw signs for Carrefour close to IKEA but have never actually found it yet.
Regards
There is a Alcampo hypermarket in the Thader center opposite IKEA and next to the motorway. Not quite so big as the Eroski but still very good and en-route from Alicante.
