DV - Mailing address and procedure

Hi, We are moving in to Duquesa Village soon and would like to order some items from the internet to be delivered to us for our arrival. These will be coming by both postal mail and courier (Fedex/DHL) and will arrive before we get there.

Can anybody please give us the correct mailing address for DV and also let us know the procedure for receiving parcels etc, some of which are quite large. Is there a communal mailroom? Is it reliable/safe to get stuff shipped?

Hi we live in DV the post gets delivered to the security lodge no problem there .

But with parcels the security guard doesnt sign for them as far as i know  because if ever we have had a letter that needs signing for there is always a slip from the post office . I think your parcels would prob go back to the delivery point I.e the courier or the local post office. The best option for parcels and also important letters we have found is to send them to the Duquesa Business Centre in the Port .

They will accept your parcels and then you pay them on collection for their  services . They will give you a postal address which is a P.O. box at Gatwick  Airport and you only pay the postage to Gatwick. Then their courier picks up all mail to come to Duquessa Business Centre and you pay them for the charge from Gatwick to Duquesa on collection. ( Hope This make sense. and is of help ) It worked for us when sending an important document from England to Spain.
