From the new levelling and tarmacing carried out this week circa' "El Casson", it could be that the preparations are underway for the laying of the first stone at the end of the month!!!!!

Well, it looks like a hell of a long time before La Isla get the views they were promised but maybe 'pole position' for the nightly fireworks displays/laser shows may compensate in the short (ish) term .

Anthony100- where did all this equipment arrive at, Condado or up on the Paramount site?
Presume you've just been able to see all this from a Condado upper tewrrace but just wondered if you meant its on the building works at the back of CdA.

Just been up there. There is a strip of Tarmac with the row of flags and in the centre of the row is a grey shingled area. Probably where the main display/ presentation will take place. No sign of loads of machinery but there obviously were machines to prep the area. Photo to follow if I can figure how to add photos using iPad. Hmmmm anyone????
We are in Naranjos 4 and the flags are easily visible. From La Isla it's virtually due north

Pooh! a wind up and I was so hopeful, oh well back to complete negativity......
(have been a bit worried that they'd use the cement works on CdA- noise ,dust, traffic etc- so a wind up is probably preferable. Have to reduce the panic mode!)

Come on Tony..............you should know by now things don't happen that quickly in Spain. I think we all know there are no major investors onboard yet or it would have been splashed all ever every press page available - never mind all that condfidentiality nonsense. A few flagpoles & a bit of tarmac has probably funded directly by Jesus Samper so the dignitaries do not get their shoes too dusty at the 'first stone' laying ceremony. Not knocking the guy, he is our best hope of bringing this all together. What I am secretly hoping for now is the Bankia crisis (of which CAM and most of the other Caja's are part of I believe) forces the consortium to take best offer on the lands of Condado 2 which they were not willing to budge on previously. Now that really would entice outside investment and would probably be the only chance of this project moving forward swiftly.
Just my thoughts.
