It sugests that Corvera airport will not open for security reasons

I love it................where else would you be allowed to build a multi-million euro developement to find out, at the last minute, it had been built in an area that is crucial to a nation's National Security?

My money was on "The Fedaral Authorities have stated there was no official planning permission given".

Total rubbish, they think we must be stupid. I read last week that out of 27 airports in Spain currently, 14 must be closed to save money as they are heavily subsidised. So why open a new one that can be mothballed. Oh and I don't think is will mean Murcia will stay open, as the foot fall there is too low.

Full of confidence now...western europe relies on Murcia in the event of a nuclear threat.

Seems some muppet in the defence dept finally got around to reading that an airpoirt was planned in corvera...why else would you wait until they build the bloody thing and start testing it before coming up with the nuclear deterrent security issue.

The simple fact is that if Paramount is to eventually open then Corvera will have to be functioning as well, I think the two go hand in hand, so if they seriously want to entice investors then they have to bite the bullit and open the airport.

There was a section in Murcia Today news that they had admitted that they had no finance backing for Paramount. Looks like it's all going belly up !

at least theres a bit of tarmacadam and some pretty flags which can be viewed from the penthouses.

as for the airport

maybe they will launch the next space shutle from here.
