Agree with all of the above, especially about the course on Condado - the best I have played. Hacienda del Alamo is also an enjoyable round and not to far to go (about 20 mins away)
Over the last couple of years, i've also ventured to a few courses further out (up to an hours drive)
Aguilon - well worth a look just for the views! A course up in the mountains with narrow fairways, and lots of ravines to lose your ball!. Played it twice in the last two years and its tough (being a high handicapper) but very enjoyable! The greens weren't as good the second time we visited last Sept but this may have been a one off. The golf society have recently played this on an away day and I believe they had no complaints!
La Serena. Enjoyable course with lots of water. I think there is water involved on 16 of the 18 holes so take plenty of balls !
Altorreal - This is a bit more of a mature course with plenty of trees, so slightly different to the alhama type courses. Played it two years ago and greens/fairways were in great condition.
Peraleja - a Seve designed course which I played last year. Fairways seemed to be suffering a bit but maybe this was because it was the end of the Summer in September. No complaints about the greens though - great condition and v fast. Clubhouse is impressive.
If you are looking for reasonable green fees, I always use "clubmurcia" website (google it as cannot add the website link as don't have enough posts!) as they seem to have offers on most courses. It also gives you details of each course and plenty of photos.
Whilst I'm on about golf, I'm back out in July and was recommended to play Roda Golf Course by the pro at Hacienda del Alamo. Looks like a great course on-line and has some good reviews - anyone else played it?
Cheers
