Purpose built Gym

The rates are €10 per day and €30 per week.  There are a couple of gyms in Mazarron Town and the Port which are a bit cheaper I believe however you have further to travel to them. It is a nice environment at the Sensol and as there is also the Spa it can make a nice visit to combine the two with partners/friends/family.

If anyone is looking for a cheap weightlifting gym, the council gym in alhama was 2 euros per visit.

It's not very pretty but got enough weights and weight machines for most people.

No crosstrainers or treadmills etc, just a few exercise bikes. I was there last year so I can only assume it is still open.

Think this is the one my hubby uses and has done for the past few years. Does it have an outdoor pool and running track?If its the same one its a bit of a nightmare to find as its well out the way. Would think that the prices will have increased this year though ?

Sounds like it is the same one, can't comment on the current prices but for the last two summers it was €2 a visit.

Wouldn't expect it to go up too drastically.

I found the location of the track on google earth , its on the very left , west end of alhama de murcia , My question is whether there is an office where you go to pay for the use of the track and do I need a certain level of spanish to be understood .

I have a little spanish but not sure if its good enough.

Hi Ken, there is an office in the main building as you go into the sports area.

Don't know if there's a charge for running track ( I don't do that!).

English is not spoken there but,  cuánto es utilizar la pista de atletismo?  - How much is it to use the running track? should be enough to get you by.
