Hi,
I'm hoping someone can help me with some information to organise furniture, curtains, and light fittings for a 2 bedroom upstairs apartment in Los Naranjos, Jardin 7. The information I need is the internal width of the front alcove for a sofa, and the widths and heights of the front window, and the 2 rear bedroom windows. Finally, if someone can please confirm how many internal lights fittings I'll need - from memory I think it was 5 (1 for each bedroom, 2 in the entrance/living room, 1 for the kitchen) and 2 external?
Any recommendations/tips for keyholders would also be greatly appreciated.
Thanks very much,
Tam

Hi, Tam we have a two bedroom apartment on naranjos garden8 we have had it for 4 years the number of lights you will need is 14 in total . We have 2 spots in each bedroom 1 outside the bedrooms 2 in the bathroom 1 in the kitchen 3 in the livingroom. outside you have 1 outside door light plus1 light for the stairs and 1 for the upstairs terrace. Are you going to put the lights in your self ? if you are going to put spots lights up check the holes where the cable comes down first stick your finger in the hole and feel around to see if there is any metal ? If you do not check this and just drill the holes they will not fit because there are metal strips that run across the celing hope this helps Malcolm

Hi Malcolm,
Thanks so much for this, as I was way off! Don't think I can squeeze 14 light fittings in my luggage, so will get the local professionals in for the lighting in that case!
Cheers,
Tam

Tam Hi When we bought our property back in 2008 we took out in our luggage the UK traditional ceiling rose, flex and lamp holder, these were easy to instal using plaster board raw plugs and gave us the flexibility of taking out lamp shades bought in the UK or purchased in Spain, you need to be aware that the UK lamp holders are smaller in diameter than the Spanish one yet you can purchase an infill ring from B&Q that takes up the difference in the diameter size. Good luck.
