In the absence of any information from ML, despite my emailing them, I have emailed A2Z regarding the internet service for 2013. We are only paid up to 31st Dec and the arrangement was supposed to be renegotiated- but we have had no news on that.
A2Z tell me that they are extending the arrangment for 2 months, although they quoted no figures. I'm hoping ML contacts us all to ask if people want the arrangement continuing before they take money from accounts- especially if the extension is at a different rate.
I think it might be a useful exercise if owners contact ML to express their interest in continuing with A2Z- we may finally get information that way.

Think you may find your internet increasing in price in January!!
You can thank ML for that for not contacting A2Z and negotiating a renewal price prior to the end of the year 2012!
Unless someone can tell me different that is..

Jann, you will get a response from A2Z but I doubt you will get a response from ML!!
The question will be too difficult because it doesnt involve changing lightbulbs or cleaning a stairwell!

mmmmm, I know but thought it worth alerting people. Only realised last night we are paid up to 31st Dec so any extension hasn't been discussed via Ml. Whilst we want the internet I do want to be able to voice an opinion o0n charges.

Indeed it does, or should. The plan was to get as many owners as possible signed up then from Jan 1st the additional cost of the intenet service would be shared amongst those users. The plan was to announce at the AGM, or just before, what the new price for 2013 would be so that the owners could then vote on if they wanted to continue with the service or not. To keep the current cost of €4.75 1206 users were required unfortunately we didn't get even half that number so the cost is likely to raise to around €10.50+IVA.
Of course all this relies on the new presidents and ML deciding to continue with the proposal that was agreed in June, this might all change. I have asked ML but didn't get any response so I guess we will all have to wait and see. I assume they will be asking all the current users if they are happy with the new cost before making any arangement with A2Z? But again that is up to them. I will not be agreeing to continue with the service until they tell me now much it will be, if it's too much then I will look elsewhere.

10.50 euro + IVA isn't too bad. For many of us that often pay for several months at a time when its not being used we just have to look at it as an annual price for the convenience of 24 hour usage when we are at CdA.
We did try a dongle but what a lot of messing about as it cancelled when we weren't there using it despite a small monthly payment that was meant to keep us online. Getting it reset was a nightmare of confusion only for it to lapse again. When we did use it we found it to be very expensive per hour of use that over 6 weeks of visiting CdA would have totalled far more than the possible 126 euro for 12 months of service with A2Z.
In the end we'd just like to be kept in the loop and for Ml to let us know whats happening. For anyone running a business and relying on their A2Z service this must be very difficult for them.

Shampers,
You have either changed your means of transportation (Fiat punto to Gazzelle helicopter) or you have changed your occupation (UK banker to Costa's property salesman). Really, 30 minutes from MSJ to CDA and 15 mins from CDA to Bolnuevo, Perchelles or wherever ?? . Not even the Ghost highway can get you there that quickly.
On the positive side, your speeding fines may well provide the Spanish authorities a much needed source of revenue.
Regards,
