 We are moving to jardine 13 in may. can anyone tel me how close or how far a removal truck will get to 13. when getting quotes they sometimes ask........Also anyone got a good removal company they would recomend. Trying to  get a good price.......thanks in advance.

Hi welcome to condado, you dont specify where you are moving from UK? or elsewhere in Spain?

Removal company can get all around the perimiter of Garden 13 but can not drive park inside the Garden.

So it depends how far you are from the entrance gaps.

When we moved over from UK we used Pickfords they would only move goods up one flight of stairs OK for most properties on Condado but I would not recomend them we had many items damaged and had to claim of a separate company not easy unless you itemise absolutely everything and have valuations typical of insurance companys, e.g a table was damaged which they paid 20% of value, and many of our treasured ornaments many valued £100 plus were broken but as every single item was not listed and also we had no purchase reciepts we got little back.

Just be cautious if insured move list everything.

If i move again i will load van myself and drive it and unload.

However there are probably some very good removal firms around i am sure someone will recommend one.

We are moving fron scotland and its jardine 13 number j1553 if that helps. good advice about the insurance hardly worth the bother if only 20% return on broken damaged goods so will bear that in mind if insuring stuff. If you would have any idea how far things would have to get carried it would help.

Hi Gordon, soon to be neighbour.....

Lucky for you your van/truck can park up very close indeed to J1553 as your apartment is at the nearend of Calle 14 with only a small 20 yard path walk down the side of the block into your from entrance on Jardin 13. Also as you have a ground floor apartment you can in fact park directly outside the back of the apartment and albeit for a small 3ft high wall, you can in fact pass smaller or lighter items over the wall into your back terrace and in through the French doors of the main bedroom. Easy peasy!!!!!

Exactly what i was looking for.......starting to get quotes for removal company in now looks like between £3000 and £3500ish. Can i ask you how far from the pool we might be.......and distance from the village centre shops ect.....have looked for a map someone posted a link which was good but didnt show that mutch detail or scale.........look forward to getting there thanks again for your help.

Jardine 13 is the farthesst right at the bottom of the resort as you look at the map. Look further up to see the town centre with the big sqyuare pool in the middle, you are the nearest Jardine to the town centre..

La Isla is outside the perimeter to the right of the town centre and past the town centre are the frontline golf penthouses and the naranjos gardens built in the same style as the Jardines.

Jardin 13 is the final Jardin on the right, the sports facilities are Jardin 6.

The Al Kasar shops, pub, restauarnts etc are up from Jardin 13, and are before the 1st roundabout (blank on the map)

 

Jardin 6 is now Jardin 7 ............. Jardin 12 is now Jardin 13
