Solar panels on Las Islas

 Anybody know why the solar panels on top of the Islas blocks don't seem to be used? Looks a big investment for no return. Discovered when looking at Aircon install

They are used....every single appartment has his individual solar water heater!!!

ok that's good news I hope it works as I only seemed to get hot water when I switched the boiler on. I'll have a look tomorrow as we should be there to receive a few deliveries.

All new properties in Spain had to have them installed by the time these were built. We were unconvinced of them working but having turned on and off a few pipes from our panel the water to the boiler definitely goes through the panel and I guess the boiler doesn't do much else than control the temperature of the water. Tried to get more info about them from Polaris and Resortalia but no luck. With electricity bills that are pretty reasonable we now assume they are working!

hmm jury is out...I'll check again next visit when it should be warmer
