No water at CDA!

Hi just to say, arrived at Condado Thursday 21 February evening to find no water supply on the whole resort.

It has been off since Wednesday 20 February 10:00 p.m.

It is still off now, Friday 22 February 07:30 a.m.

Hi Thorstein, thanks. I note that Mileniun do nothing at all to help in these water outages that happen far too often.

No fresh water in a resort of 3000 units is totally unacceptable, obviously Paramount is not feasible

I have just called Socamex, the water company, on 609 449 045 to register a complaint The man said mid-day, hope he means today.

Yes we have friends out and not a good image!

Mileniun sent out an email on Wednesday night (we got it at 21:40) so no time to even prepare: They suggested water would be back on Thursday 2pm.

Dear owner,
According to the notice received from the water company Socamex and due to the general breakdown, the water supply will be cut off at 10 p.m. tonight until 2 p.m. tomorrow in the whole resort.

Dear Owners,

We are in touch with Socamex with the aim of getting updates about the progress in the repairs. .

Two nights ago, we were informed that the break down would be fixed in around 12 hours work.  It seems that the water company had difficulties in finding out the break down and that is the reason why we have no water yet.  .  They settle an emergency team who was working last night.  THis morning, Socamex answers that they believe that the works could be finished finally this morning, and hopefully the water will be back at noon.  

We are doing everything what is inour hands to keep you informed.

This has happened so many times we are at Cda or when  we have friends out there that we leave two big bottles of water in the understairs cupboard all the time. Awful to get up to no water and despite the 'net not everyone gets the information.

Don't feel ML are as pro active as they could be- last time my brother visited they woke and there was no electricity and despite telling ML we'd paid all our bills they were very dismissive of him. It tuned out to be a fault in our Jardines electricity box and half the Jardine was off- but ML just wouldnt listern initially or make any calls to the electricity compnay., It all makes you worry about letting people use the apartment.

It's back off again this morning!!!!

Maybe we should accept the ML is not providing water or electricity, they just try to get things sorted on behalf of us owners. Í dont se them supplying water and then charge to the water company nor see them producing electricity which they then charge to the supplier. They just try to be helpful and keep us informed about possible shortages. Rupert

People need to vent their spleen at the water and electric companies as it is they who are at fault!

ML are not to blame for everything that happens on the resort but if they know about it they will try to sort it out I'm sure..

It's another breakdown with Socamex systems in Alhama affecting the water pressure and apparently doesn't just affect Condado.

All Mileniun can do is keep us informed (which they are doing reasonably well). Perhaps they could also offer advice on alternative places to go to get a shower or suggest fill buckets from the communal pools to flush toilets?

Maybe a day to bathe in the hot thermal springs at Camposol (level with El Saliddilo)? To get to them go onto Camposol sector B, pass Consum on the LHS and go straight over the roundabout by the Petrol Station and carry straight on towards the left edge of Sector B where there is a wooded area. Park at entrance to woods and walk for about 10m mins on the track (or the dirt road) through the wood keeping just left off the water treatment works and you can see the golf course on your RHS. The springs are next to a concrete oval structure with views on the golf course on RHS.
 

Also wonder how the restaurants on Condado are coping?

The water pressure is back.
