For those that are really interested in understanding the issues that the Greenkeepers (Selprats) face when maintaining the bermuda grass fairways at Condado over the winter here is a good article. It's a USA article but nearly all the courses in Florida use bermuda grass and explains more about the two choices they face: a) mixing in with the bermuda grass another grass (i.e. over seeding) that will be geen in cold months and then dies off during the summer or b) leaving as is and not 'over seeding'.
