Corvera Airport

Has anyone saw any activity at or heard anything about Corvera airport lately?

I'm waiting to book flights for the summer but am waiting to see what happens.

It seems to have gone quiet for a while now.

Best advice, book your flights now as they will only get more expensive and if Corvera opens this year your flights to San Javier may transfer if it closes. If you wait for something to happen in Spain you will be waiting a long while. JF

 I agree with Faulky , getting lots of various messages. Some think it will be soon, Taxis think not this year , so it will happen when it happens.

 Jet2 have now started quoting Murcia (San Javier) rather than just Murcia on their tickets ......... can't see it opening now until the winter schedule at the earliest, however Peppa Pig Park has beaten Paramount Murcia in it's grand opening at the end of Jan, can't believe we missed that one ..........

I heard that they have recently been conducting test flights at Corvera Airport using pigs rather than Aircrafts.

Very excited about Peppa Pig World, I know there were a few doubters on the forum (some people eh!), will write a full review after my visit. Oink Oink!

Wrestling a flying pig at the start of my holidays will definately be a more pleasant experience than flying with a budget airline out of Alicante!

The time capsule has been "taken away to be updated" because since it was installed the worlds changed,  Even the pope`s changed since the  original planting ceremony.

Surely the idea of a time capsule is that it is a snap shot of a place as a specific time, and it is not normal to dig it up and replace it otherwise what is the point of having a TIME CAPSULE where normally the date that it is placed is the key factor

Otherwise you might as well dig it up every month and update it surely

Sorry seems a little suspect to me

today the original time capsule has been reinstated along with 22 smaller versions

there will be a finders keepers experdition in one months time
