Iberdrola electricity charges

What is the average Iberdrola electricity bill for a three bedroom apartment for a period of two months with no electricity used.

I have received a bill for 70 euros and the electricity was switched off for the two monthscharged.

Is this the average bill?

We are in a 2 bed on La Isla and have just started paying elec as until a while ago it was still builders elec.For 2 months our bill was €85 and we stayed in our apartment for 1 week during this time but had no aircon on and when we are not here the elec is off at the mains.Wondered what anyone else with similar property pays.Pat

2 bed on la isla, been here since march 12th and was 75€.

I thought that was expensive with no aircon and 1 man........no heating, kettle or hairdryer

I pay berween €30 and €40 for an empty 2 bedder every 2 months.  It's been €36 for the last few bills. I've no idea why it fluctuates.

I'm I being thick or is there a logical reason why an empty 3 bed apartment electricity charges are so much higher than an empty 2 bed apartment?

I was talking to a business owner recently who advised me that the standing charges for a business are higher depending on how much electricity you might use...eg A restaurant would pay more than a shop they have a kitchen and cook food...based on that conversation could it be that a 3 bed has higher charges because it might use more elctricity...ie has more sockets and lights....hilarious if I am right but will await a more logical explanation!!

We turn off electricity completely and get a bill from iberdola for just over ranging from 35 to 43 euros every two months for a three bed. Not sure on variance either.

Have a copy of my bill here for a two bed for two months:

Contract capacity 5.75kW x 59 days x 0.064831 e/kW day = 21.99

Power consumed 5kWh x 0.161213 e/kWh = 0.81

Demand C. Discount 10% s/21.99 e = -2.20

Electricity tax 4.864% s/20.6 e x 1.05113 = 1.05

Rental of metering equipment 1.97 months x 0.84 e/month = 1.65

Total = 23.29

IVA = 4.89

Invoice = 28.18

There is also some stuff about emergency service and payment protect insurance that are listed and then removed, maybe you are paying for these optional extras?

Unsure this will help, but our bill ranges from 27 euros for 2 months not used up to 80 euros for the summer months and with aircon on.

I have noticed the prices do differ as it depends on the number of days the bill covers for a used month.

Also I read a while back on here that PW put the apartments on different contracts originally, I was put on a contract labelled Verde (top right of bill), which is good for the enviroment  but more expensive to me. There is a post on here somewhere that explain how you an change this if you want too, and can find it?
