This weekend I´ve been with Marina D´or commercials and I got new information about the urbanization.
In the new area of Cabanes (affecting buildings Mediterraneo, Playa Cabanes, etc) will look really nice. As that area is classified as "protected area" the law does not permit to build so much, so after building Mediterraneo III (at web site there is only Mediterraneo I and II but nº III is already on sale) will be the protected park for birds, and so on. The price for a 2nd floor at Mediterraneo III is around 230.000 € + IVA. There are some bungalows located in 3rd line with prices starting from 500.000 € + IVA on (the ones in corner goes up to 1.100.000 €). Back of these bungalows will be a golf club.
Just beside Mediterraneo I will be located a sport area (tennis problably). The beach will be "arranged" but it means just to put it like the one that exists in Oropesa (that area is protected, there are some sea species, so it´s not allowed any kind of construction that might destroy those species on the beach.
As they can not build so much, it´s forecasted some commercial areas and gardens in those zones of the above mentioned buildings.
The new airport (which is located very close to Marina D´´or) is planned to be operated in the end of 2008 and also a train stop (AVE -high speed train) has also a forecasted stop close to our area.
Marina D´´or Golf is forecasted to start the construction in the end of this 2007.
A huge shopping center (with El Corte Ingles; IKEA, and some much more stores) is planned to be built in Oropesa city also in a short term (just 5 minutes driving from the urbanization).
So as you can see, it looks well.
I´ve also took a look at the spanish forum, and there is also a spanish citizen informing about thieves in his apartment. He informed Marina D´or but the only response he got was "go to Guardia Civil - local police" and put the claim¡¡
Marina D´or in some cases, is renting the apartments to the workers that are working on the buildings (rumans, people from north of Africa, etc), so there are some rumours that the same workers (which knows which apartments are free and when and etc) are the responsibles of these problems.
If when you bought your apartment, the commercial told you a delivery date and now, they want to give you the apartment in advance, negotiate with them the payment terms which benefits both parts but without causing big troubles to the owner . At least with the spanish citizens they are doing it .
Regards to all of you and I will try to keep you posted.
