Hi All,
Just got a quote from http://www.easycover.net for insurance (for upto 12000 euros contents, which includes all kitchen appliances etc.) for £133.68.
Have seen other similar quotes from this company on this forum in the Forum Help/Which Insurance company.... thread.

We have now had 4 quotes for insurance, and this easycover seems the cheapest. I will have to study the terms of the policy to see if there are any omissions. Like the idea of dealing in English though!!!
Best wishes, Linda

Re buildings insurance - we believed we were covered by builders insurance until the Communidad was set up, but our solicitors do not believe this to be so. Has anyone any advice or solid info on this?
Also, we are confused over whether we will be on builders gas, electric & water for a few days (weeks???) or whether we need to arrange this prior to completion?
Thanks all

Hi All Los O'S.
With ref to building insurance dont trust the builder to cover, your solicitor should advise. Re services your solicitor can arrange the contracts for these 150 euros the lot.
All the best

We are taking out a small mortgage, and we have to have building insurance in place by the time we complete. The bank does not seem to think builder's cover is enough!!!
We will be using Easy cover - we got a good quote and they speak English.
