Naming your Apartment

 Hi

When we purchased our apartment I saw a sign in a cheap shop here in Walsall that I felt "met the bill" as we intended to rent it out

It said Mi Casa Es Su Mi Casa which I believe says my home is your home.

Unfortunatly the weather has not been kind & it has started to look really horible & rusty.

I mentioned this to Carol Miller who has a great gift shop in the Al Kazar

Carol, bless her, comissioned a new sign for us.

It says  My home, your home in Spanish. Brightly coloured & glazed on clay with the wording & Flamenco dancers in Silver, it looks great. If you want a name or a number on your apartment & you want one commisioned to your requirements please call in & see Carol, I am sure she will go out of her way to help you get just what you want.

Another option is to buy individal tiles - one tile per letter - and spell out a name. They are tough and durable.

There's one up in Jardin 5 that looks as good today as it did in 2008 when I believe it was first put up

You could also try www.simplyart.es  Very talented English couple who are based about an hour away, who produce all kinds of bespoke ceramic art including villa names (both tiles and individual letters).  We have bought from them before and can highly recommend them.  They also displayed some of their work in the Saturday market on Condado last summer so you may have seen them.
