Hi,
Unexpected recent bill from Socamex with not enough funds in bank to meet it.....so hasn't been paid. Do I get onto bank to pay direct debit now when there is funds in it, or do I have to get on to Socamex itself to put bill through again. If I do have to contact Socamex, has anyone any contact details for someone who can speak English? Similar instance happened with Urbaser a couple of years ago....we didn't know about an unpaid bill which came back to bit us when they disconnected water then told us about the unpaid bill, then had to pay reconnect fee. Don't want this scenario to happen again!!!

dolphins, Many years ago an old friend was trying to sort out his phone line with Telefonica & was moaning they kept cutting him off when he tried speaking to them! Upon further investigation what he was doing was saying when they answered ' do you speak English' then they would cut him off. Once I had explained that if he tried a bit then he would get the help he needed. Not sure if you are doing this or not but if you try saying, 'Hola, habler Inglais?' Will go a long way. Remember if you meet them half way it can make all the difference. If this is not the case then nigel188's suggestion might be the solution? Good luck. SD 😎
