Medina golf - anybody getting anywhere?

I am very sorry to hear about your case. We bought in Medina Golf back in mid 2006. We were lucky enough to get a bank guarantee - which we activated with Maria from Costaluz Lawyers back in 2009. In May 2011 we won our case, but the bank appealed. Fortunately, we also won this in April, this year. We have received our deposit back, but we are now awaiting the legal costs, which amount to just over 10,000Euros, and hopefully some interest. 

I can understand your frustration, it's agony and everything is so slow. I can only recommend you chat with Costaluz Lawyers - they aren't without their issues (lack of communication, although I think this is inherent with all lawyers, and very expensive), but they are very good and have been very successful. Plus, they have a track record now with this development.

I was in court too on the same day.  Hopefully you are not still with Criado and Kraus as they put us all in this position with their ineptness in the first place.  I have switched to other lawyers who are slowly progressing despite not having the guarantee.

I went to court this June. Nadalsol came to the court saying they were going into liquidation, as a result the case was won and the contract cancelled.  As they have no money it is unlikely that I will get anything back this way.  However this does allow my lawyers to try and get the money from the bank or Zurich, who should have given the guarantee.  I believe that because of this Costaluz Lawyers are going to try to use this case to help their clients who lost their cases previously.
