Hi all, we were hoping to take a trip to a beach but would like recommendations for the best beaches...we have young children (1&2) and older kids too so would be nice to have some facilities? Any info appreciated. Thanks

Mazarron has in my opinion lovely beaches, and there are loads of facilities there. Also at Bolneuvo going towards the other marina the beaches there are very suitable for children as it's very shallow and calm there, but I'm not sure about the facilities.

I thoroughly endorse what Lynnp has said , Also would recommend the spanish restaurant actually situated on the beach at Bolneuvo for Paella......fantastic seafood. & wines.

We visited both Isla Plana and La Azohia last week, lovely quiet sandy beaches with shallow calm water. There is a couple of beach bars at Isla Plana. La Azohia has soem bars and you can hire pedalos. Would definately recommend both.
