Chaos at the pool!

Yesterday by the bottom pool was eventful!! A family who have been around the past few days were escorted out of the pool area by two security guards (peacefully thankfully as the guards were good de-escalators I have to say). Basically they had been drinking heavily and actually regularly topping up their beakers from a litre glass bottle of vodka left lying by the side of the pool!! One was so drunk he was in serious danger of drowning and was falling all over the place. Two of his companions appeared to be trying to persuade him (unsuccessfully) to tone it down but they were also smoking at the edge of the pool and playing loud music And dancing and I think the life guard was really worried and had had enough!! I dread to think whose apartment they are renting!!

We left before it got that bad, but earlier in the afternoon the lifeguard went and spoke to them about both the vodka and one of the women in the group flicking her cigarette ash actually into the pool, and as she walked away the group were overheard abusing her saying who was she to stop them having a drink on their holiday!! this lot need nipping in the bud before a fight starts - some people make you ashamed to be British. Like you said, I'd hate to be the owner of the apartment they are renting, but even more so I'd hate to be living in one near by.
