Cost of Calls from Condado to UK

Hi

I am hopeing to be on Condado from mid May to mid September next year but still need to work.

My job is telephone based & I wonder if anyone has an idea of the cheapest tarrifs etc for a mobile phone to either mobile or Uk landlines.

The time of calls can be between flexible. I only work 5 hours a week now so time & days (I dont work weekends) are not a problem

Cannot use skype as most businesses don`t have the facility.

Unfortunatly if its going to work out too costly I have either got to forget the idea or retire early.

What about VIBER. available on most smart phones. Just get your clients to use it.

The people I will be calling will not be clients at the time of my call.  My job is to get them to join the company I work for.

What is VIBER. Sorry but I have never heard of it.

Cannot ask my boss as he is not aware that I want to work in Spain. I dont want to break it to him until I know its financially viable for me

Probably best to google it for the best explanation! but it basically is an App that you can download for free to a smart phone that then allows you to make free calls using the internet to other users anywhere in the world. All you need is a wifi internet connection. Works exactly like SKYPE.

Ideal for making totally free calls to family and friends who you encourage to also have VIBER. There are other similar Apps but I find VIBER easier to use. It will also search all your contacts in your phone and immediately identify those already on VIBER.

Of course it won't solve your business cold calling issues, but it could help you keep your costs down if you mix it in with those other calls. Worth using. Jon.

Skype account you can get a UK number and a package with free calls to a land line

I have looked @ Skype already but unfortunately many businesses do not have land lines now & it’s all mobile numbers.

We are with Utilities Warehouse for our phones etc @ home includingmy office & I have a mobile package that gives me a whole bunch of free calls to both land line & mobiles per month and so my phone bill is almost nothing. Ideally I could do with something that would offer the same @ a very low cost but thanks for the suggestion.

Skype does have various plans/rates for calling UK mobiles as well, but check out the BT SmartTalk app which lets you make calls over wifi to the UK using your BT landline number and rates.
