Council Tax

Ive had a letter for paying my tax which a company handles for me - they have asked how much my council tax is - Ive spoken to the bank to ask how much it is, and they have said Im not paying any.

I thought I was and it was paid by direct debit for the last 3 years and as Ive never had a letter from anyone asking me to pay it I believed I was paying it - has anyone else found themselves in this position ? Does anyone know how much council tax is as I need to sort mine out

Any ideas ?

Hi.Leigh. Do you mean Community fees not council tax? Or do you mean Local Taxes to the town hall? These can be paid through your bank to M.Levente for your community fees or to the town hall for your local taxes both by direct debit.The tax you cannot pay by direct debit is your non resident tax.My bank informed me of this when like you i thought i had been paying it.

The amount  for your community fees depends on your type of apartment is it a 2/3 bedroom? To find out the exact amount you require to pay contact M.Levente. For your local taxes contact the tax office on the Alkazar next to M.Levente. Hope this helps.

Can the Non- Residents tax be paid through your UK bank on submission of you online 210 form?

Hi - thanks for the reply we are paying the community fees its the local taxes to the town hall we mean - we thought it was being paid by direct debit and have discovered it isnt

We paid it the first year going there in person to pay - anyone have any ideas how much is it  ? we have had no paperwork to say it isnt being paid so confused why no bills hvae been sent any ideas or anyone had similar experience ?
