Are all the UK channels now back working in Roda?

Yep - but we had to force our TV to re-tune - it didn;t pick them up automatically.

But we have a probably of the sound going up and down. No problem watching DVD's - just TV

Anyone else have this problem?

Yes watching the TV last night the sound was going up and down after we re programmed the channels.

 We thought it was a faulty set so please to hear it's not.

Contact Resortalia and get Teleast out to check the signal into your block.
They came out and "tweaked" something in the garage for the whole block and the problem has now gone away.

I am in block 9 and I too thought my tv was faulty , thinking great just what I need now , to buy new tv as my sound was going up and down . Phew glad I don't need to buy new set , will contact resortalia ASAP

Hi there. Jumping onto this television thread......I'm looking at renting on Roda this autumn and the apartments are described as having resort tv channels. Is there a reasonable choice or would I need to make outside arrangements?

There are 5 English channels

BBC1, BBC2, ITV1, ITV2 plus Sky News.

There is also Eurosport . . . but in German !

If the TV has a digital tuner (built in or stand-alone) then all the Spanish TV channels are also available. Some of which you can reset to show in original language - which is most often English. Films and the American series (like CSI and NCSI) are deffo available in English.

Otherwise you will need to get a UK TV package installed. Teleast Digital who have a shop in Los Alcazares (labelled Internet Mar Menor) is the supplier that everyone on Roda uses. The charge is €50 installation and the €22 pm - minimum 3 month contract.

Alternatively, if the apartment has WiFi you can always watch UK TV via the internet. PM me if you want more info about this.
