Wanted

This is a Tip for anyone who doesn't want to spend days trying to get there Patio/Balcony clean.

The product below can be brought from teh small shop in the Marina for 65 cents - leave for 1 hour then was down with plenty of water.

AGUA FUERTE CARRASCOSA    (contains ACIDO CLORHIDRIO al 22%)

in a pale blue plastic bottle.

This will be the ´fizzy´cleaner, that hisses whilst the acid is doing its stuff!!

and

 

ACEITE "MORA" CERAMICAS........mate quero 1 ltr

in a tin with a picture of an old stone clad room/hall with a tiled floor.

By its name it is an Oil for Ceramics.

This product you just brush on after the patio has dried, don't worry about the tiles being slightly white just brush on and what the colour of the tiles come through.  This comes from the hardware store in Sab on the right hand side just after the island going towards Duquesa next to the furniture store.

How scary is that, what a brilliant facility this message board is.  After a recent visit I noticed the cleaners were using something on the entrance areas that really did the job.  All I could read on the label was something that turned out to be the brand name which I think was liampador or something like that.  Anyway I spent some time yesterday trying to google and find out what I could use with no real success.  Thank you so much for you posting, very helpful.

Hi my husband is a builder and recommends you use Linseed Oil.  First wash down well with water, scrape off any cement and seal with an oil-based sealer such as Linseed Oil.

It is recommended that you shouldn't use an acid on natural stone (i.e. marble, slate, terracotta, etc.).

Can't wait unitl we are doing same!
