Currently we have one of our Grandsons on Holiday with us at Condado, He is 2 years old and has Celebral Palsy and we never thought he would have the opportunity to visit us here in Sunny Spain.
At 08:00 on Saturday morning he had a fit which he could not shake off. We called an Ambulance, CPR and Security.
The CPR team were with us in minites and whilst we where waiting I had great re-assurance that they had the equipment and skills to use it should the situation deteriorate.
Security were also very good and went away to escort the Ambulance to our Apartment.
The Ambulance arrived and took our Grandson onboard and before they set of for the Hospital he Cried and came out of the Fit.
The Hospital were good and checked him over and kept him for observation till late afternoon. He is now his usual self and the Family are all relieved he is OK.
We would like to thank the CPR Team for their services and although in this case they gave no treatment the re-assurance is great.
Also a big thank you to our Security.
Lesson learnt do not believe it will not happen to you? prepare all the numbers you need keep them handy with a grab bag if needed with Passports, EHIC and any Medication. This will save valuable time.
Please support our CPR and help them to maintain this fantastic service, remember one thing the Ambulance can take 30 Minites or more to reach a casualty.
