Heighington - there is no special selection criteria. As discussed at the AGM in April this year all properties on P12 will be painted over the next 2 years. We are just starting at Block 35 and working our way through the whole community. Each block takes about 10 days to prepare and paint - it is purely the schelule that is driving the order.
We are trying to avoid UK School holidays and obviously cannot paint when it is too hot in Spain as this would affect the application of the paint.
It would not be sensible to exclude any properties owned by debtors as this would be detrimental to the maintenance of the whole block - and would look extremely stupid to boot with the odd apartment not painted.
You should have also received a second email from Resortalia last week outlining the actual schedule (copied below).
If the contractor for this 1st tranche does a good job, then we will continue with them for the 2nd tranche around Pool 2 in March 2015; pause for the summer and then continue with the 3rd tranche round Pool 3 in the autumn of 2015.
