NIGHT THIEF ABOUT

Warning to all of you on condado, we have a night thief!      Last night about midnight our two garden sun loungers were taken from outside or front door, we are on level 3 of the penthouses, so someone went out of their way to come up 2 flights of stairs.     Reported this to millennium who's response was did we see a car!   This is possibly someone on site and is trying to flog stuff they steal. So if anyone gets offered two new sun loungers cheap let us know please.  Millennium are not interested and told us to go to the police.    So angry, how dare people think it's ok to steal from others, l want to get hold of this person and I won't repeat what I would do to them if I do find them.

I wager that the stolen goods have never left the condado. 

I don't think it's someone off site, not at that time of night, as we shall the chairs at 11.30pm when we came home and were gone by 1am when I went out to water my plant pot, which would have probably been taken also, but it is a bit heavy. Maybe the thief will come back for the pot and we will be waiting for them!    regarding security at the gates only a couple of days ago we followed a hire vehicle out, so registration was not known, the vehicle stopped at the gate, waited and then the bar went up, know one came out from the office to look or check, the security definitely needs to be addressed by the presidents.

l am sure my chairs will the sold onto some innocent purchasers on site.

Worrying. Might be worth informing people on the Condado de Alhama Forum website and check the free classifieds to see if anyone lists them.

Security needs to be tightened up, both at the gates and also with more active security around the resort.  If this goes without any action by security personnel, it will only get worse.  Millennium should be more involved in dealing with something so important so everyone can see that this will not be allowed to happen in future.  What kind of person takes property from a neighbour?   I hope you find out who is responsible.

Regarding hire cars, if you register them with Mileniun then the registration number will be recognised when you drive up to the gate. They won't let you through otherwise. Also we have had our car searched before when driving out. I have seen security driving round regularly both night and day. Unfortunately you are going to get unscrupulous people wherever you go and although we are a gated community we do have to take precautions with our property. I abhor theft of any kind but at the end of the day prevention is better than cure.
