Electric blinds

One of the sets of electric blinds in our second bedroom have come detached from the mechanism, so we are unable to open them up. Does anyone know how you get into the workings so the blind can be reattached?

Sorry if you already know this and have tried.

Across the top of the window on the inside of the bedroom is a metal plate that goes the full width. This hides the roller and the operating mechanism. It comes off easily and is only held on by clips. It depends on what has broken/ become detached as to whether you can repair it yourself.
