United Golf Complex La Tercia

Hi,

I'm quite interested in buying one of the apartments on the complex. Are there any supermarkets/bars/restaurants within walking distance and would you recommend buying here?

We purchased an apartment on UGR last July and absolutely love the resort (you'll see my earlier posts when we were considering buying). We have a very friendly community.

The resort no longer has an operating golf course and currently has no shops or restaurants onsite. The nearest village (La Tercia) is 5mins away by car or a 20min walk away. Here there are a few bars and restaurants and a couple of well stocked shops. The towns of Balsicas and Roldan are also a short drive away and of course we're about 20 mins away from the coast.

The resort is very very peaceful and that is the thing that I love the most! We have stunning views.

Property sales have picked up and some of the shop shells have gone up for sale. The resort is well maintained.

Onsite we have a well equipped gym, tennis court, football pitches and a bowling green. We also have a community building call the Meeting Place, where the social committee host social events, which are very well attended.

We also have an active Facebook group where you can see pictures etc and get other people's views. Feel free to join us on there.

Thanks very much for your reply. I'm hoping to get out later in the year to see for myself but I really appreciate your feedback. The apartments look fantastic and the prices are incredible so here's hoping I'll be joining your community at some point :-)
