Hi,With the new Spanish law that has been in the media saying the banks are to pay deposits back for the people who were buying property from builders who have gone into liquidation i wondered if anyone has had any luck with this,As our solicitor in Spain did not even let us know about this new rule i am going over next month to see him and find another solicitor and wondered if anyone could recommend one,

Hi, we are due in Alicante court in October this year. We started our current case back in April 2012 so it has been a long  process. So as we've not yet had a result I can't yet recommend the legal team that we have chosen.

However, There are a number of different law firms offering their legal services and you can find their details on this forum if you search law 57/68. You will also see that many people have had their money back into their accounts, whilst there are other people who have won their case but are yet to be paid. 

some offer no win no fee some do not. You will need to get them to declare full cost to you before you embark on a lengthy and potentially costly legal process.
