Hot water

Good news. We have turned on the shower and we now have hot water. We did not need to turn on 3 taps either. Thank you Spencer for your help!

That's great news. Hopefully ours will be the same when we return in two weeks !!!!! 

Hi, I have just tried to run the hot water for 15 minutes, but no hot water today! Does anyone have any ideas why this may be the case? 

Mystery solved. The pump that was installed was playing up. They have now installed a new pump, and they said it will be quicker than the last one. Good news!

Was it an individual pump for your apartment or one for the whole block ?

It is a pump for the whole block.

Just bought on the oasis, how does the hot water system work, is it separately metered per apartment , and if the water isn't hot can you boast within the apartment 

Hi, it has a system like a hotel. The water is heated via solar panels and then if it is not hot enough it goes through a heater. This is pumped through, but our pump was faulty.  It is meant to be a very good system, but as it has not been used since 2009 the system needs checking and repairing if it is faulty. The administrators do seem to be getting it working quite quickly though. Any other questions do ask.
