Hi all Duquesa Village owners,

My husband and I bought our off-plan apartment at Duquesa nearly 4 years ago, but are now struggling to find a mortgage to cover the final payment and taxes/fees.

Would be really grateful if anyone could let us know whether they found a mortgage to cover final payment including all fees and taxes, after having paid a deposit of only 23% instead of the usual 30%.

I think a mortgage of 80% ltv (using the current valuation instead of the purchase price) should cover it, but our broker seems to be struggling to find something.

Hopefully coming over in next few weeks to try and sort things out - thanks to anyone who answers!

Louise

Hi

I also found Banco Andalucia very helpful and they are also provide the developers mortgage.  What you may find is that they value your property at a higher price than you are paying so you can herefore get a bigger percentage mortgage that way.  ie it may still be a 70% loan but 70% of a bigger value which may equate to 80% or more on your original numbers.

Steve

Updated: Sorry should have read your posting more closely as you obviously know this already.  It would be Intersting though to see how the numbers work out  on whatever valuation they give you.
