Does anyone know if there is a bus service near El Rincon which goes to other towns?  And where the bus stop is situated

Hi Sarah, there are no buses near El Rincon, you will have to walk over to Punta Prima, the bus stop is near the Hotel by the blue bridge, it will take you into Torri.  I believe they are every hour or two.

Further to the query about bus services from El Rincon - does anyone know of a reliable taxi firm based in Playa Flamenca and how costly it may be - a telephone number would be a great help.  Thanks very much

Orihuela Taxis are the nearest to El Rincon, they are based at La Zenia  & Punta Prima (I believe) I have their card at the apartment, if you can wait until Tuesday, I will post the number - I use them - find them reasonable and reliable for local journeys when I plan to have a few drinks and don't use the hire car - if you need airport pick ups - let me know and I will give you a telephone number of a guy who lives in our complex at La Mirada.

There are coaches/bus which will take you to Alicante and in the other direction Cartegena - the bus stops are located at the Town Hall at Playa Flamenca, they stop at certain towns on the way, not sure of the times though.

We've had quite a few queries from people about our apartment including the local bus services, from an ad in our local shop and newspaper but then nothing has turned into a booking.  I have it advertised on the internet, local shops in uk, and with a management company in spain but we've had no rentals at all. Anyone with advice or recomendations would be appreciated, like a good managment company or where else to advertise etc? When we were last over there we had a great time, apartment was beautiful, area lovely, and looking forward to going back in afew weeks, just a bit concearned we've been the only people there since last November and still paying full spanish mortgage and bills etc.

Hi yes it does, also picks up at Torrihoven Hotel at Punta Prima. Sorry can't help on the rental side as I do not rent my apartment out.  But sadly over the past 10 years since I have been visiting/have property in Spain, availability is now much more than demand.  I was over last week, everywhere is very quiet.
