Can anybody give me some thoughts on th epurchase of AC for a Phase 2 Ground floor apartment. Is the Roda Package good value? Has anybody purchased Aircon outside of Roda. What kind of prices should I budget for?

Look through the threads, there is loads of information on air con.  I used the Roda in house system,  it has been a pain free experience and the system works very well,  however you will pay more,  how much more ?  Some of our fellow owners have claimed  savings  of 1k ? ..   Then you have to look at the specification and compatability of the units.  also don't forget that you will require some kind of servicing and  maintenance package .

We had our air con system installed by an outside contractor.  His workmanship was of a very high standard.    We have to say that you must inspect the Roda worksmanship very carefully = we saved about 1000 euros on the price and we had an inverter system installed so we have hot and cold air conditioning. 

I am sure that there will be plenty of air conditioning installers around who will undertake servicing the system etc.  Has anyone else had different experiences?

we had our aircon done by roda and it too blows hot and cold, no complaints at all about it.The workmanship on it was very good.Although i appreciate if we had a outside contractor it would have been cheaper
