Looks like a new way to create funds!

      Like ourselves, i expect many of you attened a estate agents presidation, in England and took up an offer to go out to Spain and view, then putting down an deposit of approx ,3,000 euros.

  Is there such a thing as a 'cooling off '  period after putting down this holding deposit where you can  get 'cold feet' . have a rethink back home and decide to pull out?' if so how long can it be. I know of a guy who decided to not  go ahead after putting down a 3,000 euro deposit,he was going to buy with another person, but didnt find the sale to be right ffor him ,he wrote informing the agents , but now finds 3 years later that he is still on the contract! The fact is hes almost 80 and i dont think this can be right and its now effecting his health.

 In this case, the partner was told, by the agents,  to return half the deposit  to the other, ie 1,500 euros, and the partner carried on with the purchase ,putting down the 20% then 10%, unbeknown to the elderly man his name was left on the documents and now things things havnnt turned out well , he is being asked  to cough up money or enter court to get monies back.
