Hi Everyone

We have been told that we can complete on 23rd July & have booked our flights for 17th - 31st August inclusive, with the intention of staying in our apartment.

That's the good news, now for the bad!!!

Our NIE applications have been misplaced/lost by the office dealing with them & we won't know until next Friday if they have been found. It doesn't help that it has taken MRI 5 weeks to tell us that this is the situation.

We are wondering whether any of you that have completed, intend renting out your apartment & whether it would be available for these dates. Obviously, at this stage we don't want to commit fully to a rental agreement, in case there is even a remote possibility that we can use our apartment but if anyone can help us, we would be very grateful.

We were in the same boat re booking a holiday, we have gone ahead with ours and have booked accomodation in the A1 Alandlus which is the very first KeyMare development.

We believe we will not complete until October our block is 27.

We are Block 28, Ground Floor left & we are in contact with Diane & Paul who have Block 27 Ground Floor left. They have also been told October but our solicitor has told us from the 23rd July.

The problem with the accommodation is that we do not want to make a firm committment until all hope of staying in ours is lost, which is a big ask for any owner for 2 weeks in the height of the season.

Hope all goes well with yours & we'll probably see you there at some point.

We were hoping to get our apartment all sorted when we go over on the 18th August - 28th August.. Not looking great if anyone is aware of a storage location about could you let me know. As we will use the 2 weeks to purchase all that we require for the apartment and would like to store it somewhere so the next visit after completion will only be to set all items in the apartment.
