Hello
I posted the original message on this thread, I agree with the point made by 3sl that potential renters or even buyers will possibly read this site and that negative postings will not help rental or resale opportunities, however I also agree with Sue2's comment regarding the impact of the surrounding area on rental opportunities (tennis courts, mini golf, road surface and building work) Even if they are not directly under the control of Gesisur or Mar y Casas I would hope that the community of owners working in partnership with the administrator can influence outcomes or at least ensure everyone has good quality and timely information
Clearly there is some value in owners sharing experiences, concerns and solutions, and that we need a place to do this in a way that does not create the wrong impression Los Collados There seems to be the need for an owners access only forum or some other sort of communication network?
Today I have emailed a list of UK owners to ask if they would like to join an informal network - if you did not receive my email please contact me via this website and I will ensure you are included. Once I have had replies I will set up a user group and we can then begin to look at how to move forward
Incidently we were in Los Dunas de Cope from 13th to 10th of July and missed the mini meetings but have rearranged our plans so that we can attend the main AGM on 17th of July. We noticed the following progress
Tennis Courts - Club House Work has begun on the club house
MIni Golf - Work has begun on improving this area
Main Road - Should be resurfaced and finished by December
Post Boxes - are located in the wooden chalet above the tennis courts (key can be obtained from Gesisur)
Swimming Pools - You now need a key to gain access to both pools (can be obtained from Mar y Casas) however people were climbing through gap in fence and over the wall - so more work needed
Overall we were pleased that progress is being made
Amanda
