We inspected our property as arranged at end of last week. Generally development looking really nice. In terms of the external part of Block 33 and surrounds everything appeared largely to be complete although landscaping clearly not yet finished although pool appeared to be in use in limited way with lifeguard on hand. Internally with the exception of one significant issue (specific to our requirements) which we await further advise from Keymare on and subject to ongoing snagging and cleaning works our apartment is substancially finished. Underground car park not yet complete / in use. We expect completion to be in approximately 4/6 weeks time.

After hearing nothing from Key Mare for 5 months I rang them today to be told that my completion on Block 33 will be the 14th September. It seems I have 30 days from that date to finalise matters. Does that seem correct ?
Any comments on the completion and snagging processes would be most appreciated.

i am also in block 33, my solicitor informed me yesterday that completion is looking likely to be end of september. however my snagger (who lives close by) believes this is a tad unrealistic. although the actual apartment may be complete, the who area around this block is still a building site.
if this is true we will hold off completion for as long as possible, there is no great rush for us to get in there now summer is winding down

Thanks for the update. I spoke to Key Mare last week who e mailed me to tell me completion on my apartment in Block 33 would be the 14th September. I have asked my solicitors to get confirmation of this and am still awaiting a reply.
I'll keep you informed.

have your snags been fixed then?
we had some snags which definitely require fixing before we move in, boiler leaks/balcony rails not fixed in place etc. considering we are top floor that is certainly a very important one!!

Paul Wa, no we do not have date for completion yet but like others are not anticipating before end of September at earliest. We are still awaiting response on issue identified on our inspection visit so not sure if this will hold up completion in our case? Like others I would expect end of September at earliest for completion.

paulw - if your snag has not been done yet, i would almost certainly think 14th september is not going to be your completion date.
does anyone know what sort of notice we'll get of a completion date, and is this flexible. flightd and prior accommodation need to be sorted for most i guess.
Does it depend on the notary?

Below is a copy of the e mail received from Key Mare. When I spoke to them to query the fact that the 14th was too short notice I was told I had 30 days from the 14th to complete. I hope this information is useful to you.
