Question for More!

Does anyone who has bought at Angel de Miraflores with GV & A as their lawyers keep getting letters from them requesting to act at a fee of 350 Euros for Non residents taxes for personal income and wealth taxes ?

I know that as we have not rented out our apartment yet we are not liable to personal income taxes, but what other taxes are we liable ? We have not received any IBI (local rate) invoice as GV & A state. How do we then pay this tax without GV & A ???

I would strongly advise that you speak to another lawyer as I cannot see that you would need a solicitor to settle a bill on your behalf? Why not ask for the bill?

GVA are too closely linked to Ocean View and Ms Alberici of Conyenacing UK (An Ocean View recommended lawyer). There is a very good Spanish lawyer who posts on this web site and it might be worth asking her the question. You need impartial advice and I dont think you will get that from GV&A

As a non resident in Spain you are liable for taxes it doens't matter if you rent out the property. You will only pay taxes on the equity. There is plenty of material knocking about on the intranet. This returns are done annually too.

Dear All, with regards to non residence taxes, please wait until after the 1st September I have company in Spain doing ours but they are on holiday until then, my friend s were charged under 100 Euros each to do their taxes. if you would like information, I will be able to contact them on their return.
