Find it very surprising that there have been no reports in the UK press highlighting the on-going saga of ACC. The agents who have given misleading information and pocketed healthy commission must be laughing all the way to the bank. We are trying to get our money refunded but have been told there will be no interest, our solicitor is not answering our messages as yet. What a way to be treated, when we were interested in buying property the agents phoned us every day, now they don't return our calls.
We are one of the lucky buyers who have a bank guarantee but we are still finding it difficult to get our money back and we can't seem to find out who is being paid interest on our money. Huma are very fortunate to be escaping bad press. I understand that the licence issue is complex and political but they seem to be able to avoid being exposed for instance on UK Channel 4 property shows - amazing.
I would strongly advise against anyone embarking on an inspection visit , dealing with any of the popular agents or indeed buying off plan in Spain. Our dream has turned into a nightmare.
