compensation re builders late completion

Hi,

We are purchasing on La Tercia Real, and will most probably be travelling by road from the UK when we eventually relocate.  Seeing as your site is in advance of ours I was after any information regarding travel, Has anyone travelled by road and can you give us some advice as to the best route, length of time it will take, hotels on route which take animals, charges for tolls and any other useful information regarding travel by road?

Haven't done the trip by road but was reading about it on a website yesterday - try www.britishexpats.com & look on the Spain forum. On the 2nd page there is a thread entitled 'The drive to Spain' - can't say after reading about the experience I would be in any rush to try it, but good luck.
