i believe that we are to be connected to mains elect and water in phase 2.does elect company need access to house to connect up as in irelane esb only come as far as meter and do not need access if contractor has done job correctly.will not be in spain if access needed.

The electric company need access to all apartments. They need to change something in the electric box located behind the door.

The water is done from outside so not a problem. We have had word to say they require our bank accoubt details to set up the direct debits etc.

There is a charge for the electric meter but iberian couldn't confirm the cost of this.

I was talking to CBB rep yesterday and they have said next month for phase 3.

Hopefully you have all left keys for your homes with a neighbour for the workmen to gain access, I have heard its a long prosses if your not in when they arive first time round to connect you.

I live here (and also VP) and they havent told us.  I belive a letter gets put through your door to let you know when it will be connected but i could bank on it.  After all this is spain.

We had a phone call today from Iberian saying that the electricity will be connected to the mains on Monday 8th Oct

Yes.  Send me an e-mail authorizing me to sign on your behalf and ill see if this will be acceptable enough for your claim to go in.  Im very sorry i cant type much more im a bit to much to drink and really need to take kids to dancing lessons in the morning

How do we go about getting one of these forms, and what are the chances of us actually getting any back.

We've only used about 9 days worth...so we're definitely interested in reclaiming it!!

Just to let you know that some of Phase 3 have had their electricity connected.

Apparently if the electricity board didnt have your bank details the electricity wasnt connected..I think a couple of people have had to speak to their solicitors and then CBB regarding getting it sorted...If I hear anymore I will put a message on this site

Hello all, just read about the electricity/water reimbursement and it's the first I've heard about it. We paid Iberian 540 euros' and would also like to claim the reimbursement.  Who do we apply to for the claim form ? Did everyone receive a form or do you have to request one? Has everyone been connected to water and electricity on phase 2?       Carol and Michael No, 45. 2nd.

Hi,one of the residents on phase 2 is organising forms for reimburstment of €540.The administrator (RAMON) is acting on our behalf for a fee of €75.We have not got our elec and water supply connected yet on phase 2.

Hello Mervy, I'm not sure if we've met yet but thanks for the reply. Do you know if we have to pick up the claim forms' personally or can they be filled in by Ramon the administrator with our information supplied to her? Any idea when phase 2 is to be connected? It seems strange that some of phase 3 are already connected before us although I'm sure there will be a logical explanation. We'll be over in November for a few days' so hopefully we'll see what's what then  and maybe get to meet you. Regards' Carol and Michael.

We have recieved a phone call from Iberian this afternoon saying that phase 2 and 3  are going on to mains water next monday 15th. They do not need access to each property so hopefully all will go smoothly...........Will keep you updated as to progress
