I wonder could someone guide me.We want to ensure that we have the correct insurance cover. Did all apartment owners take out building as well as contents insurance?I am sorting out contents insurance, but am now panicking as I am not sure what the situation is regarding building insurance. Any words of advice would be very welcome.

The buildings insurance is in with the community charge, so you only need cover for the contents.

Make sure you take out enough cover to include apartment below yours, water damage etc.  Spanish insurance companies knock about a third of any claims, better to be over insured.
