Just wondered if anyone had any decent directions from Murcia airport down to Vera playa, would be much apreciated if anyone had any.

THE BEST AND EASIEST WAY FOR YOUR FIRST TIME IS TO USE THE NEW  "AP 7"  .........COME OUT OF THE AIRPORT AND ALONG THE ROAD TO-WARDS THE MOTORWAY. (AP7) AT THE MOTORWAY ROUNDABOUT  THE RIGHT EXIT  IS FOR "MURCIA" , AND THE LEFT EXIT UNDER THE MOTORWAY IS FOR "CARTAGENA"  JOIN THE AUTOPISTA   AP7   FOR "CARTEGENA."  ONCE ON IT YOU WILL SEE "VERA "ON THE SIGNS,, IT TOOK ME LAST TUESDAY 1hr 10mins DOOR TO DOOR. AND COST 10 EUROS,  IT WILL COST 11,20cents ALL THE WAY TO THE EXIT IN VERA  AT THE "POLIGONO REAL " IN  ANTAS THEN FOLLOW SIGNS FOR "VERA PLAYA "

THE OTHER WAY WHICH IS BY FOLLOWING THE "MURCIA" SIGN AT THE MOTORWAY BUT IS A LITTLE  MORE COMPLICATED AND TAKES ME ABOUT 1hr 45 mins AND I KNOW IT LIKE THE BACK OF MY HAND, SO IT IS WORTH WHILE PAYING THE 11 EUROS

Hi all

We have now found a quicker route into the development from the AP-7.  If you take the turning for Cuaves del Almanzora, exit 901, it's a bit of a country route and the roads are very bendy, but it brings you out at the turning just before Villaricos.  So you then turn right and your on the main drag.  Saves about 10/15 minutes in my opinion and the toll is (I believe) 10.45 rather than 11.50 or so.

I've typed out the specific directions so PM me and I'll send them through to you.

YES THERE ARE QUICKER ROUTS ,BUT FOR THE FIRST TIME THE ROUTE I GAVE IS A PIECE OF CAKE,,,, WHEN YOU ALL GET TO KNOW THE SURROUNDING AREA BETTER YOU WILL FIND YOUR OWN WAY ROUND AND THE SHORT CUTS
