Hi everyone,
I've only just joined so please accept my apologies if I repeat anything that you already know, but like many people who have purchased on TH we are a little dispondent too. My husband and I bought Plot 11 (an Alhambra) in March 2005 and get very frustrated when we see that there is still no development. Fortunate for us my parents live in La Marina, Alicante and my father is a keen fisherman who goes fishing just 15 minutes from TH and pops in regularly to give me updates. He went into the office on1st October and was told that they were still waiting for the last licence. I sent Pilar 4 emails to which she responded to none. I then managed to contact Raquel who is wonderful. However what she told me was very disappointing. I am quite fortune in that I work for a partner in the real estate department of an American Law firm in London who put me in contact with GM Legal Experts. Below you will see an email that I sent to them and the response I received. One last thing I have to add, so long as the project is complete by 2011 when I reach 47 and my husband 55 for our early retirement we will be happy.
Looking forward to keeping in touch with any of you,
Tracy

Dear Guadalupe,
I have been in contact with David Fitzsimmons and have had a very useful conversation on the current development at the Trampolin Hills Project. My husband and I are buying separately at Trampolin Hills and have conversations with Pilar Cano and Raquel Leiva who highlighted the fact that although the licence had been approved by Murcia, the local town hall in Campos del Rio has still not issued the licence to enable them to start building. David mentioned to me that he would be happy for me to contact you so that you could just clarify your understanding of the final stages required before building work can commence.
With kind regards,
Tracy Valentine-Jones

Dear Mrs. Valentine-Jone,
Thank you for contacting our Firm about your property in Trampolin Hills . First of all, I would like to hereby inform you about the current status of the town planning in Campos del Rio (the town where the project is going to be developed). To get the building permit, the builder and the Council signed a urban
development agreement. To get this agreement into force, it was required a change in the town planning general rules from Campos del Rio. You may
know this change involves a long process, because the builder must present a urban development project which requires the approval of the Council and
the Regional Government (Murcia).
The change of the town planning general rules was approved by the Town Hall from Campos del Rio two weeks ago, was sent to the Regional Government of Murcia for the approval, and when it comes back to the Town Hall (in 2 or 3 weeks time), it will be published within 21 days, and then approved by the Council. The building permit will issued after a few days from the end of the publication term. Therefore, the building permit will be approved in two months time approximately.
Best Regards,
Guadalupe Sánchez Baena.

I got a letter from my agent last week suggesting construction was about to commence and asking me what position I wanted my villa on the plot. I have bought an Alhambra too, plot 10. Seems like we'll eventually be neighbours. I am not sure what to make of it. I've asked for detailed plans of the plot and surrounding ones to enable me to make an informed decision. I am waiting on the agent ringing me to discuss, I am a little suspect about it.

Dear All we returned in the early hours of this morning from Murcia and this is my report from Trampolin Hills some of which will be old news to some of you as you will see from the previous thread the final planning consent is what is holding up the start of building work,I went on a Sunday as usuall the best day I've found for gaining the most ammount of imformation, one of the reasons that there has been such a delay is that TH have made some changes which i gathered were last minute changes but these apparently threw a spanner in the works, and the new building start date is soon very soon I was told.Someone asked me to ask which properties will be started first ie appartments or villas, there answer was both they intend to build very quickly phase 1&2 will be built together, were on phase 3 and were told 2 and a half years to completion,In Feb this year we visited our land which over looks the new Polaris world site Condado De Alhama there were a few flag poles and a glass sales office this week we went back and our jaws dropped as the ammount of work done and new buildings they had started was beyond belief so lets hope TH can do the same.We also visited the Royal Dream site where we were shown the four new Macarena's show homes which also show the various layout they can now be built in all are four bedroom but we were told that you will be given the chance to alter anything you like on any home you've chosen so it's worth lookin at your chosen property now and thinkin is there something you would like to alter so you can tell them when your's is to be started.I haven't read this on our forums so I dont know if its just me that has missed it or is this new to you but all of our properties to be built are having a solar panel and water tank fitted on the roof which they claim will provide 65% of our hot water, this is due to new planning laws past in Feb requiring all new builds to be fitted with solar heating,I took loads of photo's at TH and to be honest they're rubbish as hardly anything has changed since Feb,I'll put a few on anyway some of which will serve as a warning to the other idiots like me who try to drive over the golf course the hire car in the picture was not mine but was following me,I'll also put the photos of the show homes at Royal Dream you can see where the solar panels are to be fitted,One other thing that may affect some of you, get out your contract and check the size of plot you agreed then go to TH web site and click on the Golf 1 then zoom to your plot because some of them are not the same ,if your plot is now bigger you wont be complaining but if like me its now smaller you might not be too happy.
Regards Dave

As no one is bothering to write anything but your all looking for the latest thread I thought I would start the ball rolling and hope some of you will join in . On my last trip (see below )there was one quite major advance at TH, and that was that the caferteria is now huge ,perhaps this is ready for the mass influx of workers that they are expecting, how ever other than that there seems to be a whole load of nothing going on,when the web cam first went up there was a hive of activity, infact at 9 our time every day you would see the trucks all pull up for break but where are they now ?As I have personally voted myself the saddest member on this forum and now have TH web cam on my phone I am able to check at 9 and 1 o~ clock to see how many trucks pull up for break and its not a lot,Two years ago I applied to Alhama council for planning permission and was told that my land next to the new polaris world site was no longer farm land but now it was residential building land and that in 3 months time I would be told what that meant in terms of how many square metres each property could be built on,when I returned two weeks ago I went to see my Spanish neighbours who I had been to the council with two years ago , he said its still the same 3 months till we find out about the planning changes as Alhama council are too busy with Polaris World and anyone else cant get anything else done, this makes me wonder as planning for TH has been passed at Murcia what is Campos del Rio so busy with that they cant rubber stamp the final building consent, perhaps one of you know more than me and can enlighten us.
Regards Dave

I had an email from Raquel last Thursday (25th October) and in it she said:
Hello Tracy;
Yesterday an email was sent to us comunicating that on November the 15th building works will start, that's all I know, I spoke to the technicians and they say that we are just waiting for some points on the project that have been modified to be signed, they agree to them but they just must sign them. I hope this has been clarified to you. Do you remember who was your sales person here at trampolin?
Best regards,
raquel
Other than that not a lot more to report. The next time we go out is Christmas. If November 15th is the date to go by then by Christmas there should be some difference.
All the best,
Tracy

We are being told they are ready to start construction of our villa. I am going over 30th November but they are pushing us before then to make a decision on the positioning of our villa on our plot. Apparently all planning permissions have been granted, my agent is telling me I'll be moved in within 8 months.

Dear Reach High I have been to campos Del Rio from every way you can imagine, every little country lane as well, my memory though is not up to guiding you the full route but I'll get the Map out and let you know, but what i do remember is from Alicante take the A7 to Murcia, A good way I went was follow signs for Molina deSegura, which is a big town major shops and McDonalds, then take the N-344 then the MU-531 this road is very scenic and goes right past the new development that was being discussed on here some months ago,it then brings you to a new island and right into the town of Campos Del Rio.any way if what were reading now is accurate it looks like building work starting is imminent, lets hope so,and keep writing its great to switch on and see more new posts.
Regards Dave
