Visited the site on Monday and posted a few pics for you all.  Photo 2, with the 'molehills', shows where Phase 2 will almost certainly commence.  Photo 3 shows a typical penthouse balcony which will have lighting.  The construction of the pool is now underway.  In order to make it viable, the clubhouse will not be for the exclusive use of the development.  The onsite representative was very informative and is more than happy to follow up on any queries.  The company who provided the furniture for the showhouse/apartment is putting together a furniture package and I presume details will be posted on the forum at some stage.  Still unsure as to whether or not an aparthotel will appear in the next Phase.  Temperature still very pleasant although jumper necessary for the evening.

Mole hills look like dumper loads of sub-base stone for roads and paved areas. We were told that no plans to commence phase two as yet. Don't even know if licence has been granted.

Was told by Ellie, the rep at Balcones, that although licence has not been granted it will probably go ahead and she indicated the position i.e the bumps.  Not particularly wanting to be looking at a building site for the next ? years but as we were aware of this phase at the outset it's no big surprise (still a shame though!).  The developer wants to concentrate on finishing Phase I at Balcones and the new Mirador development before commencing Phase II.  In the main apartment block there are plans to have a fountain in the central patio which will be a nice touch.  Will also be a small bar to the side of the pool.  There will be a separate entrance to the site eliminating the need to drive through the village.  Should also be able to walk down through the Mirador development as a short cut to the train station if you fancy leaving the car behind for a day!
