I have been informed that our appartment in block 64 will be ready around 10th December. I was asked if I had been offered a wooden pergola on our solarium. Does anyone know anything about this ? cost what the benifits or disadvantages would be. Also they appear to have changed the layout of the appartment, terrace in different location, stairs now comming from terrace instead of the side of the building. Any help greatly received.

Hi , we have a penthouse on phase 2 and have just been offerd a wooden pergola from roda at a cost of 2900 euros , we thought this a tad expensive, There are a couple of houses on phase 1 and 2 with these pergolas,and they look ok.Im sure one of the many carpenters who advertise in the free newspaper (availible outside the post office in town centre) will do the job a lot cheaper .We are out in december and will investigate then.There has also been a lot of talk from phase 1 buyers about stairs not being where they thought they should be, fortunately ours are on the side of the building,Im not sure what the outcome of the complaints was.

If it helps I can confirm that Celtic is almost right about the cost for a Pergola however they are not as expensive as he thought.

500 x 400 with woven oriental heather covering is 2268.75 plus IVA  INCLUDING INSTALLMENT

If agreed before completion IVA is 7% and 16 % after completion.  (7% = 158.81 & 16% = 363 )

I was also  told that Roda are the only people allowed to carry out the work as I also considered finding someone myself.

Narrow escape as we would have had to have it all taken down again.
