Any info on going personally bankrupt in Spain?

My name is Richard and I'm from Enfield, North London.  I think the last guy who left a new thread was right. I have been watching this notice board for some time but haven't actually typed anything, not really sure why, perhaps shyness or maybe voyeuristic tendancies!!  Anyway as a fellow excited TH buyer the notice board has certainly helped me keep up with news and gossip and I do find myself looking at  it most days to see if there's anything new. I'm grateful to some of the well informed people posting stuff here as I've simply paid my deposit and done nothing else. I've reserved one of the penthouse flats about 18 months ago and like many others I'm hoping things will start to happen soon, especially if we're to believe that phase one and two will be finished within the next year! I'm supposed to go out there soon to choose tiles and kitchens etc so that's going to be fun!

 So I've finally left a message and hopefully others will do the same!

Cheers to sitting out with a glass of something looking over the golf course ( someday! )

Welcome Richard to the TH forum, I too have been dissapointed with the lack of reply's on our thread lately,I've also added 2 other  developments which I have slight interest in and their members have been writing every day so I had something to read and besides their developments have started building which must be an incentive to write in itself,I've studied the web cam lately(surprise surprise)and have noticed slightly more activity this week ,I saw a couple of lorries full of palm tree's heading down the track towards the golf course,there is no sign of the vehicles stopping for break so they must have stopped parking under the web cam,someone did say that building work was due to start on the 15th of Nov,dont know if anyone can confirm this or not,I suppose you have all noticed that the web cam has frozen again which it seems to be doing a lot,I believe Reach High is there at the moment so we should know something when they return,thats all for for today please feel free to join in the thread.

We have bought on El Trampolin and I went out this week to sort a few things out. Whilst talking to the guys on our site, they told me that they are starting construction next week at Trampolin Hills, as our site is almost finished. I have no reason to doubt this, as I didn't ask them about TH and it was mentioned in passing.

So fingers crossed, you might get some good news soon.

We have a Macarena and if anyone has the same model and wants to see our photos (of a finished villa) I can post them. It's the 3 bed, 2 bath version.

 Hi joe and everyone else out there,

firstly thanls for that info joe its always good to hear any news anyone has.  We were at TH last weekend, but unfortunately were a little disappointed to find that no building work had started.  We saw the new solicitor Pilar, who i have to say was very helpful considering she had to come up there on a saturday to sort our problems out and hope fully they have been.  We were lucky enough to see some build plans where they had marked out the plots and the different house styles that are going to be built on them so that was encouraging.    Our rep didint seem to think that they would not start building now till January yes sorry I did say January as she says the notaries a re all closed in December, and we believe they are still waiting for a Licence, oh no change there then. Het I must not become despondent we have waited this long what a few more months {just a few more grey hairs and a bit more nail biting.  If any one has any more news keep it coming we all love to hear from anybody.  Who knows Father Xmas may just grant our wishes and for non believers you may well get a surprise.

Firstly apologies for our apathy in posting threads, we are the group of four friends who are phase one stalwarts!!

We  read the site regularly but have only posted once before. We bought in phase one in May 2005! Not much showing for our money yet but we live in hope!

We were originally plot 160 but are now plot 145.

We would be very interested to know what happens when the bank guarantee expires and the more  cynical amongst us may wonder if this is what the builders are waiting for.

Our completion date was supposed to be Jan. 2007 so hopefully they'll only be about 18 months behind schedule!

Really enjoy reading the updates and look forward to having a round of golf and a glass of  vino in the not too distant future. Ever the optimists!!
